Master Bath REVEAL

Ahhhhhh…is pretty much what I say EVERY single time I walk into our master bathroom. From heated floors (a must in the PNW) to a heated bidet 😉, timeless marble, matte black industrial metals and soft neutrals all of which = ahhhhhh.

Modern, timeless, clean and spa-like. I’m so excited to finally share with you our “almost” finished master bath. “Almost” never looked so good 😍 (All sources included at end of post).

Lets first talk about this custom quartz honed concrete double vanity (swoon). It’s substantial yet minimal. I designed this custom piece based off several others I fell in love with including this one at pottery barn and restoration hardware. But in an effort to save some $$$ and maximize countertop space we decided to just build the vanity ourselves by framing out the top then wrapping it with a honed concrete look quartz.

Ryan of RS Tile & Stone did a stunning job applying the custom waterfall wrap. It is truly a work of art. All the design and texture flows seamlessly from the top to the sides.

My Father-in-Law, who generously built our metal staircase and railings also made these black metal legs. It is “almost” finished, we still need to add a bottom shelf which I’m planning on doing wood to add a touch more warmth to the space.

I am obsessed with these lights I found on Etsy. They add just enough art deco pizzaz to offset all the modern which I think makes the room a bit more fun. They are also a perfect compliment to these stunning extra tall aged steel medicine cabinets from Restoration Hardware that hide all our clutter.

Want to keep your counters clean? One of my favorite hacks is to add an outlet inside your medicine cabinet to hide electric toothbrushes. Another fun hack is to reuse and refill one of your favorite whiskey (or what-have-you) bottles with mouthwash. 👍

The tall black metal and glass display cabinet can be found at Ikea for a fraction of the cost of others I’ve seen. A total steal at less than $200.

Are you a marble fan? I’m a true believer. I don’t think you can ever go wrong with marble. It is truly a material that stands the test of time. Classy, clean and timeless.

I am 💯 percent in love with my marble shower and this beautiful Bianco Carrara honed marble by Z Collection. We used their 2″ hex for the shower pan, 6″x12″ on the walls and 1″ hex in the back of the niche areas. I tell you what, you want a good marriage, go for the double shower. My husband and I don’t even fight over the hot water anymore. Marriage goals! His and hers for the win. 👌

We used 12″x24″ bianco carrara honed marble tiles for the main floors and base trim. I love having tile for my base trim, we did this in all our bathrooms and it adds both a great look and functionality.
